These are the overwhelming feelings one experiences when entering ZAU, the exciting and exclusive new relaxation spa in the diamond town Cullinan - only half an hour's drive form Pretoria and about an hour from Johannesburg. A close enough drive to the historical, quaint little town and far enough to feel you have had a proper breakaway for body and soul.

Zau means 'peace", but does alliterate with zen and that is exactly the package you get after a day's pampering: the touch on the skin, aroma of oils and soaps, surrounding beauty, delicious food and drinks and the soft sounds of music and birdsong see to every sense one has.

Zau is situated in the home of JanHarm Vorster, owner of the famous JanHarmsGat se Agterplaas. The house, overlooking the Cullinan dam, was transformed by JanHarm into something more fairytale than reality. Wooden floors, high ceilings, unusual art-work and a setting so unique that it helps transform the ZAU-experience.

ZAU is a relaxation spa that breaks the mould. It is unique and creative. The idea is to soak up the difference of the house before indulging in what ZAU offers, from freshly squeezed fruit juice, a sip of bubbly, fantastic food and mind-blowing treatments.

By taking in only 18 clients at a time, we also ensure you get only the best personal attention.

At ZAU exclusivity and tranquility won't cost you an arm and a leg. The prices are very reasonable. Where else can you buy an entire day of relaxation, good food, great company and total tranquility for under R900?! This includes a deli breakfast and lunch and six treatments, while ZAU also offers morning and afternoon packages for those with less time at their disposal.
